You must place the tray in boiling water, let the water cool a bit, then quickly take the tray out and place it in your mouth. Not to worry, you will not be burned. The rubber is slightly melted, which allows it to mold to your teeth. The mold will not be the same as if a dentist would do it, but it will be a lot cheaper. Another application method for peroxide for teeth whitening are strips. Strips are small and coated with the peroxide for teeth whitening. The strips are placed over the teeth, which are to be whitened. Like with the trays, the bleach interacts with the teeth, working to whiten them, for a specified amount of time. Every teeth whitening product includes instructions, so you know how long and how often to use them. The strips are most popular as over the counter products. They are not designed for your teeth specifically and work as more of a generic application of peroxide for teeth whitening. This is not to imply they do not work. While you may get the most out of teeth whitening trays supplied by your dentist, there is some improvement to be had when using teeth whitening strips. In the end, your goal is to get a whiter smile. You can do this by using trays or strips to administer the peroxide for teeth whitening.
