Teeth Whitening Procedure
For people who want to get whiter teeth, teeth whitening is a viable option. There are many methods to have your teeth whitened. One is through the use of trays. Another is by using strips. Lastly, there is the use of teeth whitening pens. All of these methods of teeth whitening will help you to get a better smile, but you must follow the correct teeth whitening procedure. The correct teeth whitening procedure should be outlined in the instructions that come with the teeth whitening product. You should follow this teeth whitening procedure exactly, so you don't have any adverse reactions from you using it.
Teeth Whitening Procedure – Trays
For the tray method of teeth whitening, you will first need to fit the tray for your teeth. If you go to a dentist, he or she will take a mold of your teeth. You will have to come back to their office at a later date to get your tray. If you use an over the counter tray, you will have to dip it in boiling water and then put it in your mouth while it is slight melted. This way you can get the mold of the tray to fit your mouth. This is not as perfect a method as going to dentist, but it is a much cheaper one.
After you have done this, you will place the bleach in the tray. The bleach will go in the tray where the teeth are that you want whitened. After you do this, you place the tray in your mouth and let the bleach whiten your teeth for about thirty minutes, depending on the strength of the bleach. The exact teeth whitening procedure as it relates to time will be outlined in the instructions that come with the tray and bleach. You will do this daily for a couple weeks to see the results you want to see. Also follow the directions exactly.
Teeth Whitening Procedure – Strips
Another popular method of teeth whitening is the use of strips to whiten teeth. The strips are a bit easier to use than the tray and bleach. This is due to the fact the bleach is already coated on the strips and the strips are a one size fits all deal. You just place the strip over the teeth that you want whitened, which are usually the front teeth. You then leave them on your teeth for 15 or so minutes. You should always follow the instructions that come with your product specifically. This article should only be seen as a guideline and not a hard and fast rule. The product makers know more about their product that anybody else. For this reason, they should be trusted the most. Your safety is a top concern for them, since they want you to use their product and buy it again. They will not get your business in the future if they sell you a product that is unsafe or doesn't work. Also follow the teeth whitening procedure and you will have whiter teeth in no time.
