Teeth Whitening
Free Teeth Whitening
Some people really, really want to have whiter teeth, but simply cannot afford it. This is a common problem, especially when the economy is not at its best and people don't have as much disposable income. For these people, the only option to getting their teeth whiter is to find free teeth whitening options. Options for free whitening include going to a dentist which is offering a special, or getting lucky by finding a free same of teeth whitening strips online or in a store. For those who have insurance, going to the dentist may be the best way to get their free teeth whitening.
Going to the Dentist for Free Teeth Whitening
Probably the easiest way to get your free teeth whitening is to go to a dentist that is offering a special for teeth whitening. These dentists generally offer this service so they can gain new patients. This is how it works: the dentist decides he or she needs new patients. They start to advertise in the newspaper, internet radio, etc. offering new patients a free teeth whitening system with an exam and x-rays. This is an incentive for patients to come into the dentist's office. Once they get the patients in, they can look to see if there is any other dental work that is needed. Plus, the visit isn't really free, since the exam and x-rays aren't free. So, it isn't really free, is it? Well, it is and it isn't. If you have dental insurance which will pay for dental care, it is likely you can go to the dentist and get exam, x-rays and cleaning a couple times a year. This is included in the premium you pay the insurance company (for those who have to pay premiums).
Once you get the exam, x-rays and cleaning for free, some dentists offer the teeth whitening for free. This means your insurance gets billed for the three services they cover, but the dentist doesn't bill for the free teeth whitening system, since insurance generally doesn't pay for this service. The dentist gets a new patient and gets to change for those three services, while only investing a little of time and product in the free teeth whitening system. It is a win-win for both dentist and patient.
Finding Free Teeth Whitening Samples
If you can't find a dentist with free teeth whitening or you don't have insurance, you can try to find free samples of over the counter teeth whitening strips. These strips are ones you place over the teeth you wish to whiten. You generally need at least 14 or so treatments to see any difference, but if you can get 14 or so samples, you should be able to get free teeth whitening! That would be ideal for someone who just simply can't afford it, but really desires to have whiter teeth. Whether you go to the dentist or you use free samples, enjoy your new smile you got from free teeth whitening!
